Anyone interested in joining me for a days cycle soon.

The route that I am going to do is west from Killin up Glen Lochlay before heading up the sharp climb of 1000ft over the pass to Glen Lyon. The length of the glen will then be followed down to Fortingall and then round to Kenmore. The road on the quieter south side of Loch Tay will then be followed back to Killin. Distance of nearly 60 miles and easy apart from the climb over to Glen Lyon.

It can be extend by about 28miles from just beyond Fortingall by adding an extra wee circuit taking in Tummel Bridge and Kinloch Rannoch, although this will also involve a couple of extra biggish climbs.

If I can fit it in l’m also thinking about sticking a tent on the bike and doing a couple days of touring on Mull. Should be able to do just about every road on the island in two days. Might even extend it to three days and have hill day while I’m there.
