Ben Vane, Beinn Teallach and Sgurr nan Ceannaichean, and the Corbett Sgurr a'Choire-bheithe (913m) in Knoydart have all recently been surveyed and the critical info agreed with the OS. One of these hills will be changing status on the 10th September.

Hopefully it will be the remotish Corbett in Knoydart that gets promoted `cos I`ve done that . :D

Personally I think they should leave the list alone.

Personally I couldn't give a toss what they do...they're all hills to be walked on whatever their status :D

I think we should take up the challenge of reaching the highest point in every 100mx100m square in Scotland, thus eliminating the possibility of being caught out in a Munro re-survey.

Yeah, sounds like a great idea...let's do it 8) But we might as well do the highest two points per square, just in case there are any "Square Tops" in any given square :D

I'll let Dr Dave know ... he'd probably take up the challenge, being a mad keen top bagger.

You might be interested to know Gavin that over the fence from your back garden,in the trees, at NS 543 708 is Cairn Hill.

It appears on a list of 16,654 hills in the UK with a relative drop of > 30 metres. Might have to come over some time and bag it :D
