I've not seen those pics before, Abs.

Here's a couple of inversion shots from the same day on Carn na Fhreiceadain. Spectacular summit cairn on this hill!

And a few more inversion pics from other days on the hills starting with Beinn Dorain.

Brocken Spectre in White Mouth.

And one taken by Fraser I think, on Creag Leacach.

Here`s an old one from he early 80`s or so.

Big George and I walked in along the shores of Loch Mullardoch one night and up to the summit of An Socach where we bivvied.

Woke up at sunrise and wallowed in the beauty for hours. Not a breath of wind :D

Alex, I have a very similar pic somewhere at the same top...maybe there is a permanent inversion there

Amy, there already is loads of abroad stuff, under Older Trips. Just start a new topic and post away :)

Where do you want me to stick pics of Nepal trekking and Mt Kenya Trip as I thought it would be nice to have them here so that potential new members could see that we are active abroad as well?
I dont promise to do it anytime soon but i will get around to it

In this section is just fine Ms.Majik :D

3 or 4 your best photos in each post. We can then bung the rest on the new Flickr gallery in your own special section :D

If you can keep them between 60kb and 100kb then people on dialup don`t have to wait 10 minutes for the page to load.

Also, keep them at around 650 pixels wide.Much more than this and you have to scroll across the screen to see them and the text also flows off the side making Old Fester a bit grumpy. :D

I gave instructions for Photobucket for folk `cos it was easier :D

Go to your preferences on the forum and tick HTML on.

Flickr. Go to the pic on your Flickr account.Click open all sizes. When it opens copy and paste the html code that appears below the photo into the post and that`s it.

The only thing is when you load the page with a whopping big image it takes some folk ages to download the post. One post last week I reckon took Martine 10 minutes to display for 3 photos. If Flickr loads the big version it will run way off right of the screen along with all the subsequent text

Let me know when you`ve read this and I`ll delete it `.
