My van is back on the road again at last..!! I`m planning a few Corbett bagging sessions up north as a result.Next week, given fair to good weather I intend throwing the bike in the back and doing one of these options......

1. Cycle 12 miles in from the Aultguish Inn to the remote Corbett of Carn Ban.If I get up early and on the road by 6am I would also fancy my chances of bagging Beinn a`Chuallaich as well on the way back :)

2. Up to Poolewe, early start again and take the bike in along the Carnmore track.Do Beinn Lair and the Graham next to it and maybe Beinn Airigh Charr if I`m up to it.

3. Beinn a` Chaisgean Mor in Fisherfield via a devious route I have worked out.Involves a 6 mile bike ride in and then a lonely wander through wild country up to the summit. 5 star bothy en route which looks superb hidden in this area.......not on the map so don`t waste your time

4. If the forecast isn`t very good I`ll probably still head up north of the Great Glen somewhere for 2 days Corbett bagging.

I won`t hold my breath waiting for willing volunteers.... :D

Hmmm, could be interested. Will have to check with her indoors though

Also that my bike is actually in working order. Brakes are still almost non existent on my bike, but I consider brakes on a bike a luxury and not entirely essential...have managed with no brakes for about two years now, just makes things more exciting :D

No worries. No harm in asking. ...Perhaps a wee cheeky of me.

I'm fully aware I'm offering my services as a sandbagger rather than a corbet bagger.
