My van is back on the road again at last..!! I`m planning a few Corbett bagging sessions up north as a result.Next week, given fair to good weather I intend throwing the bike in the back and doing one of these options......
1. Cycle 12 miles in from the Aultguish Inn to the remote Corbett of Carn Ban.If I get up early and on the road by 6am I would also fancy my chances of bagging Beinn a`Chuallaich as well on the way back
2. Up to Poolewe, early start again and take the bike in along the Carnmore track.Do Beinn Lair and the Graham next to it and maybe Beinn Airigh Charr if I`m up to it.
3. Beinn a` Chaisgean Mor in Fisherfield via a devious route I have worked out.Involves a 6 mile bike ride in and then a lonely wander through wild country up to the summit. 5 star bothy en route which looks superb hidden in this area.......not on the map so don`t waste your time
4. If the forecast isn`t very good I`ll probably still head up north of the Great Glen somewhere for 2 days Corbett bagging.
I won`t hold my breath waiting for willing volunteers....
