Last night in the pub I was telling Silke about the new mtb routes at Cathkin Braes. These are to be built as a legacy of the Commonwealth Games.

I think that some of the routes may well be now completed…there was definitely a competition held there last month.

So there is now a local venue for all of you who are into mtb’ing 8)

Great place to take the dog for a walk, The Braes ... long as you've got a flak jacket and a good turn of speed!
