Took Rhona to Ibrox for the first time in a while and she has come on leaps and bounds :D

She's now doing routes without using all the colours of holds, got up the cave route and over the overhang at the top and even managed the wee overhang on the right as you go in (see pic below, although you might notice that she is cheating by pulling on two different coloured holds  )

And god forbid, she and her pal Isla seem to be really into that dubious sport of bouldering

Funny thing happened though...Ewan who had previously watching with Julia from the cafe, came down to the Blue Room for a closer look and unknown to us started pulling on one of the ropes until the other end of it was about 3ft from the top anchor. He seemed highly amused by this  Of course I had to climb up the adjacent route, traverse across and rescue the end before it dropped through

Craig, I'll get in contact soon and we'll get Catherine along for her first visit to the wall :)

Luisa has been given her first pair of hillwalking boots, for when she is about 2 years old. Given that she is only 6 and a half weeks old and just getting the hang of sometimes sleeping, I think it may be some time before we attempt a hill!

Rhona is coming on in leaps and bounds. Comps next?

We've got various sizes of kids boots which can be passed along to the various club youngsters once Ewan has finished with them.

Martine...boots for a 2 year old are one thing...getting them to actually walk up a hill at that age is another :D Best to carry them up in a papoose or you'll be getting nowhere fast.

By the time she's two I'll be strong as an ox! She's a velcro baby just now, loves cuddles or being constantly winded, but she is asleep just now - and slept 6 hours last night - miracles!! Longest she's slept (and longest I've slept) since she was born. Think I'll go lie down...
