John Burton, Julian and myself went on holiday to Ardgour on the Sunday, getting on the Corran ferry and making a round trip of Stob Coire a Chearcaill. The cloud clung to the top, but cleared as we began to descend, and there were some nice hazy views of the hills. We got up and down in good time, making the 5.30 ferry back in the nick of time.

Here is a pic of Julian and John eating retro sweets, a sherbet dip and a lollipop.

And this was the view just down from the summit:

Aye Jules, I might have missed a Corbett bag, but by going up the wee Buachaille that day, I actually did do a bit of bagging :o

You see, since admitting that I am a Corbett bagger, I have also decided to officially start a simultaneous campaign of bagging my second round of Munros along with the Munro Tops

I have been up the wee Buachaille a good number of times in the past but those days predated my completion of the munros. So while you were off up your Corbett I was ticking off TWO munros, this taking me to a third of the way through my second round.

Therefore I would argue that I had a more successful day than you…you only got ONE hill :D

Also, all being well I plan to be in a bothy this weekend and bagging Beinn Bhreac…a Corbett you’ve not been up yet :)

So, back at ya wee man :!:

[Clears throat]
So how was Beinn Bhreac at the weekend? What's that, you didn't even get to within 20 miles of it? What a shame.

The wee Buacahaille in the clag better than a new corbett at Ardgour above spectacular inversions? Don't think so. Back at YOU, big man.

It's amazing how your account of the day in Ardgour is remarkably enhanced compared to Martines's and John's

FIGHT! FIGHT! FIGHT!

Oh sorry, I thought we were back in the school playground there. Scott, remember that wee folk can bite ankles. Julian, remember that big folk can hold wee folk back at arm's length. Shake hands and be pals again. There's plenty of hills for us all to play on.

Anyway we had a great day in Ardgour AND we had a boat trip so, what was that expression again? Oh yes... gerrit up yee! (Sound of wee feet running away home tae mammy).
