I am still up for it. I could leave on the Thursday or Friday and come back on the Sunday or Monday? Not fussed - but would need to know soon if I have to take the day off work on the Friday.

I've got uni on the Thursday but am off the Friday & the Monday, so could leave on Thursday evening if that suits anyone, and can come down on the Sunday or Monday. Andy was expressing mild interest in this trip, but can only leave Friday and has to be back down for Sunday.

ps Eariwigs? Sounds dangerous! Do they bite? Are they big?

They are absolutely MASSIVE and prey on LSCC members

It is a reference to a club trip up there years ago when there was apparently an ubundance of earwigs around

There is also the one a few miles beyond Kinlochewe at Taagan. It’s run by the SNH and is FREE, being for backpackers and short stays only.

However, my personal preference would still be for camping in the woods, as long as there aren't too many large crawling insects around
