Looks like the gallery took a lot of hard work and time on your part.
It looks really really good!!!
:D :D :D
My favourite one has to be Fester and Bob though

Thank you Amy....any photo of Bob and myself is bound to be a favourite with the girls

I think Scott spent about 15 hours putting this all together and it shows.Must be one of the best climbing club galleries in the country.
I defy anyone to find a better one :)

PS: I think you might have to reregister under a different ID Amy. Doesn`t look like anyone is going to fix this
Sometimes when you post to a topic the entire topic disappears
If you want to create a new ID I`ll make a private section and fill it with 45 posts under your new ID so that your post tally remains the same.

Yep. Ace. The only word for it.

Well, perhaps not the only word, but certainly an eminently suitable one. Don't you think that's one of the beauties of the English language? It’s syncretic history gives it such versatility and power. Those puny romance languages, with their cramped and limited vocabulary are really inadequ … what on earth am I jabbering about?

Right … well done Scotty. Sterling effort!

I probably put new pics on the gallery every couple of weeks. Each main gallery shows a date it was last updated so it is obvious where to go to view the new pictures. Word of warning though, although I USUALLY put the new photos at the end of each gallery, I sometimes move them about a wee bit, so have a browse to make sure you don't miss any.

Any good photos I can get my hands on are usually from one of the following sources...
1. Copied from the forum.
2. Copied from club members personal site or
3. Good ones sent to me by members. This is my prefered method as it involves less work for me :D But as not many folk send me anything...

Recent updates include photos from the Skye meet which can be found in a new gallery under MEETS, with the best of them also appearing in the Hillwalking/Islands and Climbing/Rock sections.

I also posted quite a few on Fri. Most of these came from Bob and you should all have a look, at the very least for the photo of Alex in the last Gallery

Oh, and Fraser I'm still waiting from the promised pics from you :? Just about everyone else in the club who takes photos has contributed :!:

Over the next couple of days I hope to put a bunch of new photos on the Club Gallery http://orionmountaineeringclub.smugmug.com/ most of which are some great shots courtesy of Alex who has been busy scanning old slides :)

Anyone else got anything to contribute...surely the poor weather hasn't prevented all photograghy this summer

Not getting many new photos for the gallery from you lot :?

It's really only Alex and I that been digging out photos recently, although if you haven't been on the gallery for some time it is worthwhile having a look as I do constantly add and update. There are now a total of 685 photos on it 8)

Feedback from various sources re. the gallery is very encouraging. The Secretary of the Cairngorm Club told Julian that he was very impressed and recent new members, especially Ritchie, have made particular mention of the quality, both of the photos and the gallery in general :)

If you have any photos that could possibly be used on the gallery please send me them in a reasonable size file. I can reduce them if need be.

I have recently made major updates to the Gallery by adding loads of folders and photos. Just about all the sections in the gallery have benefited, especially in the Meets section where I have added meets back to 2006 and also additional photos to meets that were already on the gallery.

I don’t intend to go back any further than 2006 in this section, but any photos taken on club meets between 2006-present would be appreciated, especially meets that I haven’t listed in the gallery as this means that I don’t have any photos for these meets in my personal archive.

Once again could I remind you all to send me pics. The lack of recent pics that I have been sent has resulted in me having to resort to copying photos from the forum. This means that they are of a very small size and are not particularly ideal for the Gallery.

There are now over 800 photos in the gallery! Please go in and tell me what you think http://orionmountaineeringclub.smugmug.com/

Thanks Alex and Graham for your continued support in sending me photos.
