With two people flying in from London and everyone else driving 3 hours north in treacherous conditions - what is the worst thing that could have happened? .....yes Andy lost the key. A mistake anyone could have made but it could have been costly.

Andy always seems to have mishaps at Milehouse. A number of years ago his boots went missing during the night and a thorough search of the hut in the morning failed to fine any trace of them.

This time, on arriving at the hut in the dark he dropped the key in the 12inch deep snow and it proved to be lost for ever. Luckily for everyone I was able to contact the custodian and sort out alternative access to the hut.

Is the key somewhere around here :?:

Or here :?:

Gavin brought his telescope up with him, which was excellent for looking at the moon which was almost full in a totally clear sky 8)

I tried taking photos through the scope, although they didn’t turn out as well as the ones Gav posted on the forum some weeks ago :?

Some of the crowd round the stove in the hut :D

Alex, you have a stunning moon! Second only to Gavin and Scott's. Or should that be third?

I have heard many comment on Alex's ability to moon. Not always, it should be said, in flattering terms!

I'm glad you are taking my comment with the contempt and sarcasm that was implied.
