So who wants to go :?: We are booked into the ‘Bothy’ at Badrallach http://www.badrallach.com/stay/bothy.html

The bothy can sleep 12. Any more than that can camp as there are facilities for up to 12 tents.

Cost for the bothy is £5/person/night. List of stuff you need to bring on above web page.

Location: Landranger OS Sheet 19, Grid Ref NH 065915

Scott. Can you add 2 to the list? Myself and Fiona.

Amy. Are you taking 5 spaces just to be sure of making it up? (I should add a smiley icon to show that I am joking but they are a bit naff.)

Hi Scott,

Put me on the list too.

John
PS If it looks as though there is any space left after the club members have booked up let me know as Gail (? Morven) may be interested in coming along.

Will do John, but it will probably be at the last minute as recently the norm is for folk not to commit until late on, therefore members can still be adding their names right up until the day before the meet.

Having said that I will pencil in their names.

Count me in too, and hopefully Ruth aswell (if there is enough space after members). Ruth is still waiting to find out whether she can get Sunday off work. Scott, do you know if we can stay in the hut on the Thursday night too? If so, we might be interested in going up on Thursday night or Friday morning.

I shan't make this one, though it sounds lovely. Paul and I trying to get away to sunnier climes on holiday together. Hopefully to somewhere with air con and pasteurised dairy products where malaria shots are not required.

Unfortunately I have to attend a christening against my will :( on the Sunday of this meet.

However, I can drive up on the Thursday if anyone wants to tag along with me. I would be driving back on the Saturday evening, but anyone going up with me could get a lift back down with someone else should they wish to stay the full weekend.

Ruth has just got confirmation that she is getting the day off - so, if there is space, we will both be there. We will be up for leaving on Thursday night but we are thinking of taking our bikes so might have to take our own car?

I'm keen, and being a lazy student may be up for going up on the Thursday night.

I'm unsure about this one - it sounds really awesome, but it is the weekend after Calum gets home so i'll be a 'provisional' for now

Thinking about it, Calum will probably want to run off on his own at the first opportunity anyway so i'm unlikely to get a row for heading to the hills! :D

At the moment we only have 7 members confirmed as wanting to go :?

They are Amy, Fiona, David, John, Gordon, Dom and Neil. This means that at the moment there is room for non-members. However remember that there also facilities to camp here.

Unfortunately, I have decided not to come as I would need to drive home on the Saturday night and I just can't be bothered doing that horrendous drive on my own. Instead I will just be heading out to a bothy somewhere further south for the Friday night :(

John Can I ask you to collect the money at the meet. The bothy is costing us £60/night although we have paid £30 deposit. We are required to pay the balance on the weekend. I booked the place hoping that we would have a full complment of 12 people, hence the £5/night that I have quoted. If we have less than 12 folk going you will have to pay the rest out the club biscuit tin I am afraid. Thanks.
