If there is still space for non-members with the previous requests in mind, I might see if Calum wants to come along then - could be an easy way around my predicament :D

Well as I said in previous posting, there are 7 members confirmed for 12 places. However, that may go up, or down, by next weekend, although I am betting that all 12 places won't be taken. But there shouldn't be a problem even if the numbers go over 12 as long as someone is willing to camp. And anyway camping would purely be for sleeping purposes and would have the benefit of a quiet nights sleep away from snorers :D

I was talking to Jools the other day and neither of us can make our minds up yet.I know this doesn`t help much :)
I`ll probably leave it until the middle of next week to decide and if I have to go up by myself then so be it.
I`d suggest that transport should be arranged by those definitely going tonight.

Yeah that's a good idea seeing as most folk will be in due to it being the AGM tonight (remember 8pm).
Also, as I am not going to Badrallach I would prefer not to get involved in transport arrangements, so maybe someone will volunteer for this duty :D

I can't make it tonight, and I'm not sure I can go after all. I'll see next week whether there are any car spaces going before deciding if that's alright. Sorry to be a bit awkward!

I'm an almost certain maybe and as such if there are no places left by the time I decide I will not complain. My decision would definitely be swayed by economical sharing of fuel costs and ideally sharing of driving.

It's starting to sound like that the winter meet with the best location is going to be the one to make the biggest lose for the club :cry:

Anyone done Am Faochagach by Strath Vaich? My old Munro book recommends this way but says you can drive up to Strathvaich Lodge. Can you still do this?

I didn`t know you could drive up to the Lodge.All the trip reports I`ve read on the web have started from the main road.I know it is tarmac up to the Lodge.Bob and I done it the mans way from the western end of Loch Glascarnoch.It mentioned that the Abhainn A`Gharbhrain could be problematical to cross after rain.It certainly was...we had to wade across the the loch itself at the outflow.Pic below....aye...it`s me :shock:

Yeah, Gordon Innes, Jennie and myself also had a problematic crossing of the river at the same spot.

I think it might be time for those going up to organise transport.
Who is driving,when are folk available to leave etc;

I`m still undecided but if I go I am prepared to drive up by myself rather than muck up any lift sharing that may have been organised.

Carve it off man! Get the saw out ... if fact If Jules goes, he could take one of his chainsaws for some impromptu podiatry procedures!
