Ickers asked me to post this report on the weekend's meet at the CIC Hut. Seems like a fairly successful weekend considering the milder weather. He also sent me some pics to post.

A mixed bag from the CIC weekend. Warm and lean conditions generally. Craig and I did one pitch of South Gully in Coire na Ciste on the Saturday before abbing-off and trundling up 3 Gully. After a new dump of snow overnight, Sunday saw Craig and teacher Graham complete a barren Central Gully (left branch) and North Gully by Nicky Hawkins and myself which included very steep but good ice in the first pitch. The CIC is now much better and will be fantastic when the toilet is finished :-)

Can't see much snow or ice in the first photo? Was Craig on the same hill :o Sunday looks much better, like the photo of Nick leading steep ice pitch.

PS Scott what does 'Bump' mean?

It means that I am "bumping" the thread back up after editing the original post by adding the photos. That way folk who are logged on will see that there has been a addition to the thread and will have a look :) No need for it now that you have posted, hence the bump has now been deleted
