I won`t know if I`m going until Thursday so it would be better if you all aranged lifts for yourselves on the basis that I will not be going.Jools is a "definite maybe" and as such he is prepared to wait until he knows for sure and if that means he loses out on a lift then he accepts that.He would be unable to leave before about 7pm on Friday as he is on a course down in Ayr.

My preference is to leave early to mid afternoon on Friday. Gordon if you have your bike do you fancy cycling up Strath Vaich and doing Am Faochgach? Could be a good shortish day for Sunday as it is on the way home.

Gail may come if there is a good forecast. Been checking and it seems to be different every time I look. Happy to drive, particuarly as I would like to take my bike. Depending on Gail have space for two or three.

For whoever is organising the transport etc. I'm pretty sure that Guto wants to come this weekend...and he's got a car :D

Last week I told him to come down the pub this thursday as that would be when all the arrangments would be made.

Gordon. I'll come up on Thursday also. I'll take my own car as I need to make a detour on the way up. Should I contact the hut owners to let them know that there will be one other for Thurs night?

Fiona can't come now. Work.

Barring disasters (touch wood) I will be going but would really really appreciate a lift. I can be back from Ayr by 5.30 and ready to go by 6.

Here is my interpretation of the plans so far...

Ruth, myself and david are going up tonight. .....David I tried phoning you last night. I got an email from the bothy custodians. It seems the bothy is empty tonight, they said it is open and there is no problem staying there tonight. Give me a phone if you want to meet on the way up. We are taking our bikes for a cycle tomorrow?

Neil is going up by himself tomorrow - see you up there Neil!

John, Amy and Julian are going up tomorrow afternoon/evening. Would make sense for you guys all to go up together in either John or Julian's car?

Alex, Jen (& Calum) are undecided.

Any others?

Don't think Calum and I can make it unfortunately (Calum's still got a pretty bad throat so serious winter hill activities seem a bad idea!) - hopefully be down at the pub this evening though.

Happy to take you up Amy. Give me a ring. Left my phone number on your mobile. Not so happy to wait around for Julian to leave at 1800 though. Planning to take tomorrow afternoon off so will leave mid afternoon, say 1500 at the latest.
