Any last minute additions to the solstice outing this weekend :?:

So far the intrepid party going out on Saturday consists of Gavin, Neil, Gordon, Jon, myself and possibly a new guy who came down to the pub last night.

Forecast does not seem as bad as it looked yesterday. Could camp out east ... Ben y'Ghlo area, Drumochter, perhaps. Could also be persuaded to bothy.

Scott mentioned camping up in the Glen Shee area ... would be a good option

I think Beinn a'Ghlo or the eastern Glen Shee hills would be good.

For the best chance of fine hill top weather Mount Keen might be a good choice...but further to drive?

However if the forecast turns grim again I'd be up for taking a big bag of coal and an even bigger bottle of wine to a bothy :D

Glas Maol? Good parking, Short walk in, path most of the way, grassy summit (well, in patches) plus plenty of good summits at the same height.
