Found this on youtube and it brought back some memories.

Done it in October 1991 with Gordon Innes. The guidebook description was accompanied by a skull and crossbones death warning

We didn`t think it was loose or dangerous at all,in fact it was quite pleasant. It`s worth waiting until near the end to get the scale of the place...

Looks like an awesome place and a route with fine situations.

Talking about Gordon Innes, I had forgotton about what happened to him at Loudon Hill until you reminded me last night in the pub.

For those who haven't heard the tale, Gordon went out there himself and happened to bump into another lone climber. They decided to team up and do some climbing together. Anyway, Gordon was abseiling back down after completing a route when his gear ripped and he crashed to the ground :( The other guy apparently ran off  leaving Gordon lying there for 6hrs until a bird watcher came across him and came to his assistance :!:

Hmm, a lesson there perhaps...don't climb with someone you don't know :?:

Anyone know if Gordy is still getting out these days :?:
