Saturday saw me and extended family head east to the Pentland hills for a sunny walk over Turnhouse hill, Carnethy hill nand the highest Scald Law. We retunred via the road by the Glencorse reservoir. A new area for me but thoroughly enjoyed it. Amazing how such a beautiful area of countryside is so close to our capital! I actually walked Carnethy hill twice as once I had decended from it I relised I had left my camera at the previous col and so had to double back. Doh! I'll stick some photos up later.

Young Alexander is certainly getting a few Marilyn ticks.

Conic Hill the other week and now Scald Law :D

Had a great day out with Bob on Saturday.A hill ( Marilyn of course ) in the morning and a coastal walk with sea cliffs and a sea stack in the afternoon down in Galloway.Spot of sunbathing as well

Seen my first ever goshawk,Bob almost stepped on an adder, got macro shots of a lizard and loads of other stuff.

Well actually young Master Alexander was with his mother and had a walk along the reservoir road with my mum and aunt. I was out walking the high level route with my dad, sister, her boyfriend, my cousin and her husband (keen fell runner) and my other cousin. My cousin's husband Scott is more used to running these hills so we had to keep him on a short lead to stop him bounding off
