All those in the pub last night debated the way forward as regards choosing our new place of residence on Thursday evenings. Nobody seems to be coming up with any further suggestions of pubs to try out and it was also agreed that we need to find a new permanent home sooner rather than later.

It was therefore decided to narrow the choice down to two of the places we have tried out and take a vote.

The two establishments which were deemed to be the most popular were The Pot Still and the State Bar.

So here is your chance to make your vote count. Tick which pub you would prefer to see as our new Thursday meeting place. The vote is open until noon next Thursday. This will allow the winner to be announced and our place of meeting next week be decided.

We can try out the winning pub until the next AGM and in the event that we decide that it is unsuitable we can then decide to try somewhere else.

The polls are now closed and we have a runaway winner.

As of tonight our new official Thursday night place of meeting is the State Bar, Holland Street
