Alex was telling us on the hill on Sunday that the local authority have decided once again in their infinite wisdom to carry out “safety work” at Auchinstarry :evil:

According to Alex the most affected area is the car park to promontory climbs, from Mr. Men to Spirogyra. Apparently Access Route, previously the beginners route at diff, is now VS :o

Appears to another case of H&S gone mad and also puts the recent edition of the guide out of date :x

Maybe Alex can throw more light on this as I have failed to find any further details on the internet.
