I have been scanning some of my old photos and came across these two trips to Skye with the club. They were all the more memorable due to the cracking weather.

July 2000

Day 1 – Sgurr na Banachdich to the Inn Pin, with Jon and Andy

Uhm...I was there in May 2002.

Day 1 was doing White Slab Direct with Jools. One very "exciting" pitch which two of the clubs tigers on the rope in front of us chose to avoid. They shall remain nameless :D

Day 2 was up at the sea cliffs at Neist Point where I faffed around with Gavin and Sharples.

Day 3 was going up the Inn Pinn with Clive and Paul.

My camera had broken in Colorado the previous month so don`t think I have any pics but will have a look later....

Ahh yes I remeber the weekend to Skye afew years ago when Fraser, Gordon and myself went up Am Basteir after a very very late and drunken night at a Celidh in Carboost. Suprised we didn't fall off the ridge:) I have some pics on my pc but the dame thing is still broken!

Aye, that was also a great Skye trip of fine weather, well the first two days anyway, but was a good few years later (Sept 2005) than the two trips above. Graham, I’ve got a few pics from that weekend.

Craig and I headed up on the Thursday night and a smashing day on the Clach Glas – Blaven Traverse the next day.

The next day I headed out to go climbing with Craig and Neil. Unfortunately I had really bad toothache and I left the guys near to the Cioch and took a short walk over Sgurr Sgumain instead. Graham, I think that was the day you headed up Am Bastier with Fraser and Gordon.

Before heading off from the Slig campsite…Graham, Gordon, Fraser, me and Neil (photo by Craig, I think)

Walk in to Coire Lagan (photo by Neil, I think)

Craig and Neil below the Cioch, just as I decided that I couldn’t go too much further.

Can’t remember what route it was we were going to climb. But I took this pic from Sgumain and if you look closely you can just see Craig sitting on the top of the Cioch bringing Neil up the last pitch of the route.

The next day it was back to typical Skye wet weather and we all went for a wild walk up Marsco.

Just noticed your posting Alex and I remember you guys doing White Slab Direct on "Day 1" (were the tigers Gavin and Steve Wells :?: oops have I let it slip  ), but if you were at Neist with Gavin on "Day 2" who is the bearded dude on the top of Sgurr Alistair with me in the photos above :?: :?:

So is that your roundabout way of saying "yeah, you're right Scott, it was Steve and Gavin who avoided the exciting pitch"?
