I need to know where I`m going in advance. Hate getting up early and travelling up north only to find that everyone wants to go up the Cobbler or something like that
Hey, what's wrong with the Cobbler

I've been up it dozens of times, but it's still one my fav hills.
Ah but wait, is it the steep railway path that bothers an old man like you

I remember Jon, Graham and I carrying all the climbing gear up one day, and you still panting like a rabid dog on the way up, even though you had a teensy weensy pack on your back

I know you`ve been up it dozens of times....that`s why it`s eroded to buggery
I NEVER carry climbing gear. That`s for other people to do for me.I save myself for the actual climbing...
Wot about Cnoc Coinnich,761 metres, from Lochgoilhead. It has great views down the Clyde Estuary to Ailsa Craig,it meets the time factor `cos it ain`t far away and it`s a reasonably big hill.Could even do it from Ardgartan to save some time.
Beinn Bhreac,681 metres, above loch Lomond at the entrance to Glen Douglas at the Inverbeg Hotel.Possibility of adding on Tullich Hill,632 metres, if time permits.Great views from Beinn Bhreac up and down L.Lomond.
Binnein an Fhidhleir,811 metres.Corbett I haven`t done plus a trig point on it
Cruach Tairbeart,415 metres, above the Arrochar to Tarbert road which is meant to be a great viewpoint.Marilyn and trig point.
Stob an Eas,732 metres, above Hell`s Glen.Graham and Marilyn and trig point.
Needless to say this is an entirely selfish list of hills that I haven`t done
Could also be swayed over to the Ochils for a few more Donalds to my list...
