Okay folks its time for the grand finale to the 07/08 winter hut meets calendar - Naismith Hut, Elphin 14th / 15th March 08.

Its a great part of the country so don't hang around dithering as there will be plenty of interest.

Costs are £7 a night and we have 8 spaces.

Let me know if you want to go by Thursday 28th February please.

PS Handy tip - don't sleep in the same dorm as SMC members

I wanna go

And it's not so much the "dirty protest" that took place in the Naismith a few years ago that worries my. It's more the strap on dildo that was found behind the Raeburn (another SMC hut) :o

is camping allowed? or must one suffer the crepuscular nasal trumpeting of those who insist on bingeing to excess and smoking themselves kipper-like in front of the gas fire? If there's any room left after "normal" members, I'd quite like to pop along and regale all will tales of my mate Allen Fyffe, darn, there I go again, name dropping. On the other hand, you're not famous enough... unless Cap'n Bob is going - is the Cap'n going?

Sorry Alistair, no camping allowed. Its's understandable here because the hut is very close to other houses. Guess you could bivy discretely and no one would know.

I think the Cap`n is in retirement nowadays.

Can I be the token female for this one? I believe the other Orion International Ladies team members are unavailable for this, unless Abigail can be persuaded? I might make pizza for everyone, if none of those recalcitrant SMC members turn up to spoil the fun.

Knitting and cooking? Haven't you read Silke's post about the ladies hurtling themselves headfirst down icy slopes in Glencoe?

I'll be on a 'study day' the Friday afore the meet, so happy to set off a bit earlier if that suits anyone else. Might need a lift though as Spirito di Sporco is malato yet again.
