Any last minute additions to the solstice outing this weekend So far the intrepid party going out on Saturday consists of Gavin, Neil, Gordon, Jon, myself and possibly a new guy who came down to the pub last night. |

Forecast does not seem as bad as it looked yesterday. Could camp out east ... Ben y'Ghlo area, Drumochter, perhaps. Could also be persuaded to bothy. |

Scott mentioned camping up in the Glen Shee area ... would be a good option |

I think Beinn a'Ghlo or the eastern Glen Shee hills would be good. For the best chance of fine hill top weather Mount Keen might be a good choice...but further to drive? However if the forecast turns grim again I'd be up for taking a big bag of coal and an even bigger bottle of wine to a bothy |

Glas Maol? Good parking, Short walk in, path most of the way, grassy summit (well, in patches) plus plenty of good summits at the same height. |
