Keith.....down in New Zealand.Survived a 2,000ft fall down Mount Aspiring as well :D

The rock star on the right is Brian Close. Not heard of him for years .......last heard of he was going out on the hill with the Glasgow District town planners.

That photos a blast from the past Fester! Good to see though. Even Alison appears to be smiling! Obviously this was pre Coruisk and the infamous bonfire outside the hut. Ah McEwans Export, lovely. Even Jim Leighton's lovechild looks relatively at ease, probably just after having found out that Sting wasn't his real Dad!
I am now off to plunder the old photo box and get scanning.
Great posting old fella.

Cheeky old sod!! I'll have you know that I am still that athletic and ruggedly handsome lad that I was way back then. Ok, maybe the guts haven't spread, but maybe the eyes and memory are going a bit Archie!!
Great Photo, although can't say that my good chum has weathered quite as well all the same!! Bless. Still he does have a lovely personality as they say. World domination doesn't come cheap you know.
What are you up to these days?

Hi Fester,
It would be good to meet up for a wee swally and perhaps even a hill! Benn in touch with Vally, you know the other part of the Proddy enclave and have told himself that I will be on the mainland 'bagging' over the last couple of weeks of July.
Who knows I may even make the Viccy, or the Clutha if things aren't sorted out there while I am down. Is Alec the poof still working there? Always thought he had a wee thing for you btw! It would be really good to catch up with you and others of course!
May even buy you a Pint :P
